Imphal, April 01 2026: Please refer to the news item published under the heading 'Goitang village authority opposes unauthorized meeting' on the 2nd page of April 1 issue of this paper.

It is hereby clarified that the "Goitang village authority" mentioned in the heading as well in the body of the news item should be read as "Riamei Kaikhwaing clan of Goitang village," and not as published.

The error is deeply regretted.
