Imphal, August 31 2025: Police have arrested Moirangthem Totomsana who contested the 2024 Lok Sabha election from Inner Manipur Parliamentary seat.

According to credible sources, Totomsana, a resident of Heirok Part-II, was arrested today around 10:45 am by Imphal West police, assisted by Thoubal police, from areas adjacent to Wangbal and Khagabok.

Sources indicate that the arrest may be linked to arrest warrants issued against him by different Courts.

However, the police have not specified the reason for his arrest.

Another source said that Totomsana has been remanded to judicial custody.
