JCILPS elects new office bearers, names new building after Robinhood

Imphal, May 29 2026: The Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit System (JCILPS) today elected new office bearers and held a charge handover ceremony at its office in Keishampat, Sega Road Konjeng Hajari Leikai.

Khumukcham Chingkhei Meitei took charge as convenor, while Kh Gunapati was appointed convenor of the Women Wing and Prikeshwor Moirangthem as convenor of the Students Wing.

During the programme, the newly constructed building of the committee, located at the site where ILP movement martyr Sapam Robinhood attained martyrdom, was formally named "Lamjing Meira Shanglen".

The ceremony was held to streamline the committee's activities and reaffirm its commitment to the ILP movement in the State.
