Farmers' training programme on IPMT wraps up

Bishnupur, March 28 2026: The third phase of farmers' training programme on "Promotion of Integrated Pest Management Technologies in Bishnupur District" organised by Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Bishnupur concluded today.

A total of 120 farmers from various comers of the district took part in the training programme conducted under the aegis of NEH Component, ICAR-National Research Institute for Integrated Pest Management (NRIIPM), New Delhi.

Dr P Bijaya, Course Coordinator of the training programme and SMS (Horticulture) of KVK Bishnupur spoke to the farmers about Integrated Pest Management Technologies, scientific farming techniques and their benefits and boosting farmers' income.

As a part of the event, input materials such as neem oil, knapsack sprayer, tri-bac kit etc were distributed to the participating farmers.
