MPCC extends wishes to Haj pilgrims

Imphal, May 18 2025: The Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) has extended its best wishes to Muslims from Manipur embarking on the Haj pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

A MPCC team led by its president K Meghachandra (Wangkhem AC MLA) and Khangabok AC MLA Surjakumar Okram met the pilgrims at Bir Tikendrajit International Airport and wished them well.

The MPCC team included Md Amir Hussain (general secretary), Md Wahidur Rahman (general secretary), Md Siraj Ahmed (general secretary) and Md Zakir Hussain (chairman of Minority Department) among others.

K Meghachandra appealed to the pilgrims to pray for Manipur during their stay in Mecca.
