Free health camp organised at Langmeithet

Thoubal, January 16 2026: The District Social Welfare Office, Thoubal, in collaboration with District Health Society, under the aegis of Department of Social Welfare, Government of Manipur, organised a one-day free health camp at Langmeithet Upper Primary School in Thoubal district on Thursday.

The health camp was conducted under the Atal Vayo Abhyuday Yojana (AVYAY) Scheme.

The camp aimed at providing essential services to elderly residents of the; locality.

More than 100 elders benefited from the camp, where free health check-ups and testing facilities were provided.

Free medicines were also distributed to the beneficiaries as part of the programme.
