Imphal, July 13 2024: A 55-year-old man identified as RK Wangmasana drowned in a pond at Kwakeithel Makha Thokchom Leikai today.

He fell in the pond at around 5.20 pm.

After hours of search by the locals and Manipur Fire Service personnel using a boat, his lifeless body was recovered in the late evening.

RK Wangmasana is survived by his wife RK Tondon.
