In view of the problem of food shortage being faced by the people in the four sub-divisions of Churachandpur district following the outbreak of bamboo flowering and its subsequently rodent menace on food crops, the Union Home Ministry would be extending aid for providing immediate relief measures, a top official of the State Government disclosed.
