Imphal, October 11 2025: RK Maipaksana Memorial Truston Saturday observed the 101st birth anniversary of prominent political activist, journalist, and teacher RK Maipaksana at the auditorium of the Directorate of Information & Public Relations (DIPR) in Nityaipat Chuthek, Imphal.

The observance was graced by Prof Mayengbam Akshaykumar Singh, former Head, Department of Clinical Psychology, RIMS as the chief guest.

During the event, Dr RK Nimai Singh, former Commissioner, Government of Manipur, delivered the 13th RK Maipaksana Memorial Lecture on the topic, "The Idea of Manipur and its Future" .

The event was marked by the release of a souvenir and offering of floral tributes to a photograph of Late RK Maipaksana.
