AMUCO condoles demise of Saikhom Kamalkanta

Imphal, September 09 2026: All Manipur United Clubs' Organisation (AMUCO) has condoled the untimely demise of Saikhom Kamalkanta of Cachar, Assam.

In a condolence message, AMUCO said Kamalkanta had worked tirelessly and selflessly for Manipuris settled in Cachar and had played a major role in fostering cordial relations between the people of Cachar and Manipur.

He was one of the prominent figures among Manipuris in Assam who dedicated his life to social service for his motherland and for Manipuris in Cachar.

His demise is a great loss for Cachar as well as for the people of Manipur, AMUCO said.

AMUCO shared the grief of the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace in the heavenly abode.
