Imphal, May 05 2025: A 29-year-old man who had been on the run from the police since February 2022 has been arrested and taken to police custody till May 8 .

Takhellambam Maipaksana was on the run after allegedly assaulting 2 security personnel at the Sewage Treatment Plant of the PHED on February 24, 2022 .

T Maipaksana hails from Sawombung Awang Leikai.

Maipaksana and four of his associates identified as police officers entered the Treatment Plant premises by climbing the gate and beat two security personnel, said a complaint that was then filed by the Section Officer of Drainage and Sewerage Division, PHED .
