Imphal, July 04 2025: The Department of Transport, Government of Manipur has informed all concerned that the Motor Vehicle Tax rates for all categories of vehicles have been revised including provisions for green tax and extension of registration certificate validity beyond 15 years for eligible vehicles and the revision of taxes has been effected from July 1, 2025 as per the Government Notification issued on June 19, 2025 .

Accordingly, all vehicle owners, transporters, and stakeholders are advised to refer to the official Gazette (Extraordinary No 57 of June 20, 2025) for the detailed rate structure and ensure timely compliance to avoid penalties or delays in registration-related procedures.
