Imphal, April 02 2026: Konthoujam AC MLA Th Lokeshwar has handed over the playground of New Gold Club in Taretkhul.

The playground was developed with land donated in the name of his father, using funds from the MLA's Local Area Development Fund, the MLA said.

Addressing the function, the MLA mentioned that a construction of Primary Health Sub-Center has also been completed at Taretkhul, and the inauguration of the facility will take place soon.

He also said that Taretkhul Primary School has also been upgraded to Junior High School.

The programme was also attended by several Congress leaders.
