RPF claims responsibility

Imphal, November 13 2021:
The proscribed Revolutionary People's Front (RPF) has claimed responsibility for the ambush on the convoy of 46 Assam Rifles at Sehken village, Churachandpur that killed six personnel including Colonel Viplav Tripathi and injured many, today.
A press release issued by the outfit's deputy publicity secretary stated that the ambush was carried out jointly by PLA and MNPF cadres.
Claiming that the cadres were not aware of the presence of the Colonel's wife and son, the outfit stated that the Indian security forces should never take their family members while on duty, specially at disturbed areas.
The RPF then lauded the team and supporters who aided in the ambush.
