Relief balm for stranded passengers
Source: The Sangai Express
Imphal, August 05 2011:
With no sign of assistance or possibilities of safe passage from the bandh enforcers or the State Government for around 400 persons including women, medical patients, students and children currently stranded at Senapati Hqs, civil organisations including NPO, SDSA, SDWA and SKWWA in collaboration with the district administration have opened a relief camp for the stranded passengers.
They are presently accommodated and provided with free food at the Indoor Stadium, maintained by local womenfolk and student leaders, said an NPO release.
