Imphal, March 16 2016: District Water and Sanitation Committee, Kangpokpi, PHE Division, to- day, held the National Rural Drinking Water and Sanitation awareness week at Kangchup Chiru, Saitu Gamphazol with a mass rally from UJB School to Kangchup Chiru ground at- tended by school students, locals and PHE Division officials.

Ningombam Gambhir Singh, EE , PHED, Kangpokpi Sub-divn formally kicked off the aware- ness week.

Organised by the PHED, Manipur, the weeklong awareness programme is in line with the Nation wide observance of National Rural Drinking Water and Sanita- tion Week under the Ministry of Drinking Water Programme.
