Imphal, February 11, 2011: The Association of Voluntary Blood Donors, Manipur and Don Bosco College, Maram in association with Manipur State AIDS Control Society, State Blood Transfusion Council, Manipur and Department of IHBT, RIMS have jointly organised a one day Awareness Campaign in voluntary Blood Donation at Don Bosco College, Maram today.

President and Secretary of AVBD, Manipur and Chief Medical Officer, Department of IHBT, RIMS talked on �Benefits of Voluntary Blood Donation' and �Blood Banking' as resource persons.

A Voluntary Blood Donation Camp was also held as part of the programme.

A total of 115 voluntary donors of the college donated blood during the camp.
