Former Minister Hemanta resigns from BJP

Thoubal, December 26 2018:
Former vice-president and ex-minister Moirangthem Hemanta has resigned from the primary membership of BJP today.
A resignation letter was submitted to the president of BJP today in this regard.
According to a statement released by the former minister, he along with some workers will soon join a national political party to serve the people of the State.
Moiranthem Hemanta was elected three times as MLA from Wangjing Tentha AC and has even served as a minister.
