Chalwa PS becomes functional

Kangpokpi, December 05 2014 : With the completion of its newly constructed building under Manipur Police Housing Corporation, Chalwa Police Station situated around 60 Km.

from Kangpokpi begin its operation from today.

The handing and taking over the station has been held in a simple function today at Chalwa attended by officials of Manipur Police Housing Corporation, SP Senapati, Addl.

SP Kangpokpi, SDPO Senapati and OC Kangpokpi Police Station apart from local CSOs leaders and the general public.

With the deployment of police and VDF personnel in the station Inspector Haomang Hansing has been posted as Officer-in-Charge of the station informed a police source.
