AR Interacts with Karang villagers

Imphal, December 16 2022: Loktak Battalion of IGAR (South) interacted with chief and villagers of Karang Island in Bishnupur district on Thursday to discuss various issues ranging from presence of insurgents and their extortion activities in remote areas, menace of drug abuse, education avenues and health requirement.

During the interaction, essential medicines and commodities were provided to locals and they were also assured of medical camp in the month of January.

The interaction was one of the numerous activities undertaken by the Loktak Battalion to ensure well-being of the local populace and alleviate their hardships, said a PRO IGAR (S) release.
