Imphal, July 13 2024: Unknown armed miscreants fired several rounds at the residence of renowned film actor and Lok Sabha candidate (independent) Rk Somendro alias Kaiku s/o (L) Rk Modhusana at Thangmeiband Meisnam Leikai in Imphal West district on Friday night.

According to a police report, the unknown armed miscreants fired some rounds at the front gate of Somendro's residence at around 10.30 pm on Friday.

It is not known who and for what reason the shots were fired.

However, Lamphel PS has registered an FIR and conducted preliminary investigations.
