KKYNSA meet kicks off

Imphal, February 11, 2011: The 52nd general body cum sports meet of the Kharao-Khaorei-Yairum Naga Students' Association (KKYNSA) kicked off yesterday at Hongmann village, Senapati district.

Film actor, RK Kaiku graced the inaugural function as chief guest in which K Rungrei, principal, State Institute of Rural Development presided.

Boxer MC Mary Kom attended the function as guest of honour.

Keiku, in his speech as chief guest, asserted that for succeed in life, hard work and patient is a must.

In order to achieve the desire target, one need to confront all odd before him, he exhorted.

Reminding that sports is a must for health living, K Rungrei, the president of the function, only the courageous man could get triumph in every field.

In his speech as guest of honour, MC Mary Kom for successful in life one need to overcome all odds coming on the way.

If one feels disappointed, he or she is a coward man.

The general body cum sports meet is participating by around 1000 students coming from 17 villages from Senapati and Ukhrul districts.

Competitions in ex-temper speech, quiz competition, dance items, football, volleyball, handball, tug of war etc.

are the main events of the meet.
