Khuga 6n organises medical camp

Imphal, December 28 2018:
In order to provide basic investigative and preventive medical health care, a medical camp was organized by the Khuga Battalion at village New Teikot today.
A total of 498 villagers attended the medical camp, said a statement of PIB (Defence Wing) .
The aim of medical camp was to administer basic medical checkup to the villagers, wherein, free basic medicine were also distributed.
The opportunity was also exploited in terms of educating the locals regarding various 'Seasonal Diseases & its Prevention' .
Post medical camp, a lecture on 'Health & Hygiene Issues' to include ill effects of tobacco, alcohol consumption and drug addiction was also conducted by the Regimental Medical Officer, said the statement.
