MLA Yengkhom Surchandra while attending an inaugural function said that every efforts have been put for the development of Kakching AC and added that the AC is far more developed than the other neighbouring AC.
The MLA was attending an inaugural function as chief guest to inaugurate Kondren Mandop built at the cost of Rs 30 lakh under MLA local area development fund today and a temple built at the cost of Rs 23 lakh by Kshetrimayum Krishnadas.
Speaking at the occasion, he said that more than 20 community halls were built in Kakching AC and added that 134 pathways out of 139 in Kakching AC have been blacktopped so far.
He continued that, at present, it is important to build community hall in every locality to address the issue of space crunch face by the local people to hold any religious ceremony.
The inaugural function was also attended by chairperson, Kakching Municipal Council, Naorem Sanjitkumar, vice-chairperson Ksh Jhaljit, councillor ward no 10 Ksh Anita, proprietor Ksh Beikul Oil Pump, Ksh Krishnadas and councillors of KMC.
