Imphal, July 30 2019: Shangshak Battalion of 10 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (S) distributed seven solar lights to the villagers of Nambashi Khullen village in Kamjong district today.

The solar lights will be helpful in mitigating the hardships of remote border village during monsoon season, said a press release issued by IGAR (S).

The headman and other villagers including the womenfolk interacted with the representatives of Shangshak Battalion at Nambashi Khullen.

The villagers appreciated the gesture of Assam Rifles for reaching out to them and extending the support in improving their quality of life, it added.
