Imphal, July 20 2025: Keirao Assembly Constituency MLA Lourembam Rameshwor Meitei on Sunday distributed looms to 66 women weavers of his constituency during a function held at Langthabal Kunja Meitei Lamkhai.

Speaking on the occasion, L Rameshwor said that looms will be provided to a total of 700 women beneficiaries of MANITEX, an initiative of the Manipur Handloom & Handicraft Department, in a phase-wise manner.

"Today, looms were distributed for the third phase to 66 beneficiaries from Keirao AC", said the MLA while expressing hope that the looms will help the women weavers become economically self-reliant.
