Imphal, June 29 2025: The 53rd death anniversary of Padmashri Guru Maisnam Amubi was observed at the premises of Manipuri Jagoi Marup, Lamboi Khongnangk hong on Sunday.

The observance was attended by JN Manipur Dance Academy director P Bilash and Manipur Jagoi Marup former president Ng Amumacha among others.

As part of the observance, floral tributes were offered to the portrait of Maisnam Amubi.

Later, artiste Rup Rani Das Borah presented a Kathak performance, while SNA awardee A Lakshmi presented Gouranga Rup, and Manipur Jagoi Marup artistes performed Basanta Brana and Samod Damodar and Das Avatar.
