Imphal, February 11, 2011: While condemning the killing of Ningombam Sunder by unknown persons on February 6 near Sawombung Forest Gate, the JAC against the killing appealed to all concern to investigate the matter and punish the culprit publicly.

A press release of the JAC stated that Sunder was a sincere person who was interested in social works and sports.

His wedding date was fixed and invitations were also distributed already.

With such incidents increasing day by day in the state, people of the state are facing serious life threats throughout their life.

In such situation, government and law enforcing institutions should keep proper vigilance and do their duty sincerely, it added.
