Imphal, May 29 2026: Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand opened Manipur Police Museum at 1st Manipur Rifles Battalion complex in Imphal today.

Director General of Police Rajiv Singh and other high ranking police officers attended the launch ceremony.

The museum houses artefacts showcasing the history of Manipur Police, World War-II relics and many other items.

Later, the Chief Minister inspected the Manipur Police Headquarters at Mantripukhri and inaugurated a creche room.

During the inspection, Khemchand said the police headquarters will help meet the requirements of a modem police force, strengthen and improve policing operations and efficiency.
