Imphal, January 28 2026: The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Manipur State Unit, has expressed deep shock and sorrow over the sudden demise of Maharashtra's Deputy Chief Minister, Ajit Pawar.

In a press release, the party described his passing as an "irreparable loss" to the nation and the political fraternity.

The NCP Manipur State Unit highlighted Ajit Pawar's commitment to public service, administrative prowess, and compassion for the common people, noting his significant contributions to infrastructure development, agriculture, and social welfare.

The party extended heartfelt condolences to his family, relatives, and well-wishers, praying for his soul to rest in peace.
