Imphal, May 24 2025: Writer Union Imphal on Saturday organised a reception ceremony in honour of Muhammad Muhijuddin Ahmad, recipient of Sahitya Akademi Translation Prize 2021 and Manipur State Kala Akademi Award 2022 (translation).

The ceremony held at the premises of Dr Raheijuddin Sheikh in Mantripukhri was attended by Writer Union Imphal president Md Najiruddin and vice president Md Ajrul Kabir as presidium members.

The gathering congratulated Muhammad Muhijuddin Ahmad and presented special gifts as encouragement for his remarkable achievements.

Writer Union Imphal secretary MA Hasim was also present at the event.
