Imphal, September 20 2026: The Koireng-led UNLF has issued a clarification with regard to the arrest of Khundongbam Motilal alias Khongul (26) s/o Kh Ingo of Heirok Part III Lam Mari Phangba by a combined team of Thoubal Police and 46 AR from Lamding Khumanthem Leikai, Thoubal district on August 11, 2026 .

A press release issued by the outfit's Secretary of Publicity M Shak-Hen said that the outfit and its armed wing MPA have no connection whatsoever with Khundongbam Motilal alias khongul.
