AMNEMEA extends aid to ailing member

Imphal, July 20 2025: All Manipur Newspaper & Electronics Media Employees' Association (AMNEMEA) has extended monetary aid to its member Yohen Naorem, who is undergoing medical treatment.

In a release, AMNEMEA 1st Council secretary general A Praphullo informed that E-Group member Yohen Naorem, son of N Surjit of Naorem Leikai, met with an accident on February 2, 2025, and subsequently underwent head surgery at Kripashini hospital.

After five months, Yohen is to undergo another operation on July 30 at RIMS Hospital.

A team of the association led by its senior member Thiyam Somorjit extended the financial assistance to Yohen for the second time, the release added.
