Imphal, May 17 2025: The Institution of Engineers (India), Manipur State Centre, observed World Telecommunication and Information Society Day (WTISD) at the Government Polytechnic Campus, Takyel, Imphal today.

The event was focused on this year's global theme, "Gender Equality in Digital Transformation", said a release issued by IEI Manipur state Centre.

The event was attended by L Swamikanta Singh, Chairman of the Centre; L Shamungou Singh, Principal of Govt Polytechnic; RK Naojinglen Meitei, retired Senior Technical Officer of NIELIT Imphal and W Homendro Singh, Immediate Past Chairman.
