U-Trust gears up for free detoxification camp

Imphal, December 14 2024: The Union of Treatment and Rehabilitation of Users for Social Transformation (U-TRUST) is gearing up to conduct a free detoxification camp for drug users from this week onwards.

Speaking to media persons at Manipur Press Club today, Sagolshem Herojit, president, U-TRUST, hailed the Social Welfare Department for granting permission to host the camp for 193 drug users when they approached the Department in April of this year.

Expressing gratitude to the State Government for their dedication in working for the welfare of drug users, he further urged the public to do away with mistreating drug users and forcing them to undergo medical treatment.
