Imphal, April 05 2026: A new organisation named the "Labour Protection Union Force" was formally launched today at the Manipur Dramatic Union (MDU) hall located in Yaiskul Police Lane.

The event saw the participation of several dignitaries, including Ningthemcha Sanayaima; Waikhom Amuchou Meetei, president of Labour Protection Union Force; social activist Ashem Amuba; Chandam Surjit, president of United Club of Yaiskul; and Dr Khagokpam Gopal Krishna, Head, Mechanical Engineering Department, ' Manipur Technical University.

As part of the programme, artists from the MDU performed a play titled "Chingyagi Leihao", which was directed by T Priyobarta and based on a story by Manaobi MM .
