AR saves boy

Imphal, January 28, 2011:
The medical team of 39 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector under HQ IGAR (South) saved the life of a boy bitten by a venomous snake on January 27. The victim named Master Satyajit (12) was brought to the unit hospital in a critical condition.
The victim was immediately attended to by the Medical Officer who administered life saving anti-snake venom and thus saved the youngster, added a PRO IGAR (S) release.
