Imphal, December 19 2009:
The file tracking system, a software which would help in monitoring processing of files among various Government Departments would be introduced for the first time in the State at the Civil Secretariat with effect from December 21 .
Developed by NIC, the software is to be introduced at the initiative of the Chief Secretary after a successful month long trial.
IT Commission PK Singh has issued an office memorandum in connection with the implementation of the new system.
It is said that necessary training for introduction of file tracking system too had already been imparted to the staff of the Secretariat.
