Salutes raised on PLA's 47th raising day

Imphal, September 24 2025: The proscribed Revolutionary People's Front (RPF) has saluted the bravehearts who have made the supreme sacrifice in the struggle for the liberation of 'our motherland and our people' on the eve of the 47th raising day of its armed wing People's Liberation Army (PLA) .

The outfit also extended its salute and gratitude to every comrade of fellow revolutionary parties participating in the 'National liberation movement and to 'our valiant comrades' fighting in the frontlines.

In a statement, RPF acting president M Ngouba said that 47 years have passed since the PLA took up arms in the struggle for the liberation of 'our motherland and our people'.

During this arduous journey, the unanticipated and chaotic nature of this war has proven to be one of its defining characteristics, he said.

"While a host of factors have shaped this characteristic, the condition of our enemy occupies a large part within it.

On the other hand, when evaluating the wider scope of this struggle, this factor has proven invaluable in illuminating the current situation," he claimed.

Ngouba continued that the struggle now stands at a critical juncture, offering a clear understanding of their present situation and the possible future course.

Saying that there remains an unforgettable reason for commemorating World War II as a pivotal historical event by the people to this day, he maintained that the war is for the future generations to cherish peace and flourish together.

The meaning and message given by World War II is that the horrors of that era must never be allowed to repeat and no one should remain a mute spectator upon witnessing examples of oppression or colonialism, he added.

"According to western narrative World War II began after 1939.However, the war had already started in Asia with Japan's occupation of Manchuria in 1931 and its 1937 invasion of various regions of China, committing acts of killings and torture.

Later on, Japan's military aggression expanded to the remaining regions of Asia, and the flames of World War II spread across both the East and West like wildfire," the outfit leader claimed.

Continuing that numerous incredible changes have shaped the world in the aftermath of World War II, he explained that these changes are largely rooted in the effort to uphold and preserve the lessons learned and the messages imparted by the war.

Yet, these changes after World War II remain incomplete as the colonialists and the imperialists on the winning side could not cast off their colonial mindsets, and were determined to extort the benefits gained from the changes and the subsequent development, Ngouba claimed.

He alleged that the western colonialists and imperialists clung to their grip on power for an extended period mostly in South-East Asia and Africa, even after the war ended.

Guided by the hard-won lessons and stark truths of World War II, people across the globe launched a widespread struggle to eliminate oppression and as a result, many Nations achieved independence, securing their right to chart their own path to progress, he said and added that the roles played by the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the USSR at that time were truly remarkable.

Unfortunately, multiple groups that seek to contradict and trivialize the lessons of World War II have emerged and are acting with impunity and without hesitation, the outfit leader claimed.

According to him, three striking examples that are worth highlighting are Japan's historical revisionism, alleged India's Hindu Nationalist ideology driven expansionism and the US expansionism oriented toward global supremacy.

People across the globe assumed that powerful countries in possession of nuclear power would not easily initiate a war, however, Bharat flagrantly violated the nuclear threshold by attacking Pakistan and it has irrevocably erased any certainty that Pakistan or any other nuclear-armed Nations will refrain from using nuclear weapons against Bharat in future, he claimed.

Claiming that Bharat never gained independence from the British, instead, it inherited the crown of colonialism from the British, he alleged that Bharat has a dreadful aspiration of a "Greater Bharat" founded on Hindu Nationalism.

Hence, Bharat failed to consider the very people it represented as its own, showing neither concern of their sufferings nor any regards for their aspirations, the RPF leader said.

Further claiming that Bharat annexed several small independent Nations by setting colonial traps and this twisted mindset has led Bharat to frequent conflicts with neighbouring countries, he alleged that Bharat has repeatedly used its forces and weapons against its neighbours, exploiting and degrading their National dignity.

Saying that RPF have had a firm understanding of Bharat's stance and the possible consequence it entails, he added that how India treats its neighbouring countries and their means of exerting its control over them and their future projections were all documented in the party journals.

Roughly 22 per cent of the world's total landmass is currently embroiled in medium to high intensity conflicts, he said and maintained that the locations and the underlying causes of these conflicts are interrelated and as such tensions continue to rise.

"We cannot afford to remain inactive under the illusion that the impending war driven by Bharat's deliberate courting of conflict will spare Manipur," he claimed.

He said that the people of Manipur and the WESEA region must be extra vigilant about certain circumstances.

Given Bharat's past actions towards Manipur, he emphasized the importance of not underestimating potential future moves, especially if the situation worsens.

He stressed that the people of the region must remain aware of Bharat's alleged propensity for treachery.

The majority populace in 'our region' have already seen the truth and can also make choices that serve the best interest of 'our motherland' .

Alleging that there are certain people who lap up the enemies' lies and always wait for Delhi's instructions, he urged one and all to be wary of these people.

In this pivotal moment, they might try to incite public opinions or plant traps to get the people to stand with Bharat, luring the people into pouring their strength, intellect and wealth in the process but 'our people' must not further cede the fate of 'our motherland' to Bharat, he urged.

The world needs to uphold the right path, but this cannot be accomplished through empty rhetoric alone, he Said and added that the power of a civilization does not lie in evading the problems or sufferings but in confronting these challenges head on and keep moving forward.

The independence of Manipur is non-negotiable, he asserted.

Saying that their fight for their motherland's freedom and for humanity is unwavering, he added that their party song carries a profound moral that only through the unity and struggle of the world's downtrodden people to break the chains of slavery can the world transform into land of universal equality.

Claiming that the liberation struggle is nearing its goal at an unprecedented pace, exceeding expectations, the outfit leader called on everyone to take responsibility for consolidating gains for the cause.
