SSI girl student interacts with PM

Imphal, January 24 2026:
Bringing pride to her school and the State, Memota Keisham, a Class X girl cadet of Sainik School Imphal, interacted with Prime Minister Naren-dra Modi during his flagship programme "Parik-sha Pe Charcha 2025 (PPC)" .
The interaction took place on January 22, 2026 and was broadcasted nationwide, said a press note issued by Sainik School Imphal.
Cdt Memota Keisham was the only student to represent Manipur and the first female cadet from Sainik schools across the country to be conferred the rare privilege of interacting with the Prime Minister, in recognition of her strong communication skills, creativity, critical thinking and confidence.
Hailing from Langthabal Khunou of Thoubal district, Cdt Memota Keisham is the eldest daughter of Keisham Debendra Singh and Maibam Tilotama Devi.
Only 37 students were selected for the interaction programme from all States and Union Territories in India.
Col A Rajiv, Principal, Sainik School Imphal, has also commended Cdt Memota Keisham.
"Her achievement serves as a great source of motivation and inspiration for students across Manipur", he added.
