Ukhrul, September 18 2025:
Three Tangkhul techies have developed an application called the Edroom to centralise and simplify school management system in a single platform.
The application was developed by Shon Horam, Than Shishak and Worrin Muivah.
Co-founder Worrin Muivah launched the digitised school management App on Tuesday at the TTA Hall, Hamleikhong Ukhrul.
Worrin said the application was developed in line with the learning management system (LMS) in order to ease and reduce reliance on traditional school management systems.
Edroom is a platform that connects the school, teachers, students and parents.
"Our mission is to create smarter classrooms with a strong focus on easing accessibility, enhancing efficiency and meaningful learning," Worrin said.
He said the Edroom is secured and cloud based.
Worrin said the App has features that allow seamless updation of information and notification.
Important announcements, notifications, lesson plans, study materials, timetables, examination schedules, examination results, academic performance, attendance tracking, leave applications and student profiles can be accessed using the App at ease, Worrin said.
Further, a bunch of useful communication tools and options for payment of fees and management of bills can be accessed using the application on smartphones, computers and tablets, Worrin added.
In short, Worrin said the application connects school authorities - Principals, teachers, students and parents.
He informed that six schools of Nagaland have already signed MoUs with the Edroom to use the application.
The Edroom application can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Playstore.
