Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan launched at TRI

In a bid to empower tribal communities through awareness, access and empowerment, a "Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan (DAJA) - Awareness and Saturation Camp" was launched at Tribal Research Institute (TRI), Chingmeirong on Wednesday.
The Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan is a nationwide initiative focused on ensuring tribal communities receive the benefits of government welfare schemes.
The Ministry of Tribal Affairs is the nodal agency, coordinating with other ministries to implement the campaign and ensure maximum benefit saturation.
The campaign running from June 15 to June 30, 2025, includes awareness camps, where information is disseminated about various schemes, and saturation camps, where eligible individuals can enroll and receive benefits.
The Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan encompasses two key programs: Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) and PM-JANMAN.
These are flagship initiatives focused on the holistic development and benefit saturation of tribal communities.
DAJGUA builds upon the achievements of PM-JANMAN .
aiming to saturate tribal villages with essential infrastructure and services.
The launch event held at TRI Chingmeirong witnessed an active participation of youths and students.
