Imphal, July 18 2026: It has turned out that Guruaribam Mridula Sharma is the State topper of NEET(UG)-2026 .

G Mridula Sharma d/o Dr G Nilamani Sharma of Kwakeithel Thiyam Leikai scored 634 marks out of the total 720, and she is placed at 2948 in the all India ranking.

Mridula appeared NEET(UG)-2026 at Hyderabad but her domicile is Manipur.

After completing Class X from Little Flower School, Imphal, she completed Class XII from Chaitanya College, Hyderabad this year.

Dr G Nilamani Sharma, currently serving at Shija Hospital is the former head, Department of Plastic Surgery, RIMS .

Notably, Mridula has three elder sisters and all of them are doctors.

She also has a younger brother.

Notably, a certain coaching centre felicitated JNIMS dental student Javed Hasan as the State topper of NEET(UG)-2026 yesterday.

Javed Hasan scored 610 marks out of 720 .

But sources said that the State topper should be the one who scores the highest marks among candidates who are domiciles of Manipur.

Nonetheless, the Additional Director (Medical Education), Medical Department said that the exact ranking of the NEET(UG)-2026 candidates from Manipur will be known after a State list is received from Delhi which is expected after one week.
