Observer reviews prep for Tadubi by-poll

Senapati, May 15 2025: Electoral Roll Observer Thaithuilung Pamei, commissioner-cum-secretary, (Seri-culture/Horticulture), made his 3rd visit to the district after final publication of Electoral roll for Special Summary Revision for the By-Election of 49-Tadubi (ST) AC, Senapati district.

The Observer chaired a meeting with the political parties functioning in the district at the office of DEO, Senapati and highlighted the checks and observations that have been taken up by him during the Special Summary Revision as per the Election Commission of India directives.

The meeting was also attended by Senapati DEO/DC Mamoni Do-ley along with electoral registration officers and assistant electoral registration officers of Karong (ST), Mao (ST) and Tadubi (ST) assembly constituencies and representatives of political parties of the district.

Mamoni Doley informed that as per the final roll, there are 48,682 electors in Tadubi AC out of which 24,212 are female.

Further it was highlighted that elector population ratio stands at 40.51 and the gender ratio is 989 .

The DEO appealed to all the electors of Tadubi to come forward and exercise their franchise in the By-Election.

The political parties expressed their satisfaction with the overall process of the Special Summary Revision.
