In a show of political strength and celebratory fervour, Deputy Chief Minister Nemcha Kipgen on Tuesday led a grand victory feast at the BJP Sadar Hills Office in Kangpokpi district headquarters, marking the Bharatiya Janata Party's sweeping electoral triumphs in Assam, West Bengal and Puducherry.
The event, organised by BJP Sadar Hills, witnessed the presence of senior party leaders including Paokam Haokip, BJP Sadar Hills president Thangjamang Kipgen, Kangpokpi BJP Mandal president Lunseh Kipgen, along with a large number of party workers and karyakartas who gathered in a charged atmosphere of jubilation.
Addressing the gathering, Kipgen described the BJP's resounding victories as a "decisive rejection of divisive and opportunistic politics" and a powerful endorsement of the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
"The sweeping and emphatic victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Assam, West Bengal, and Puducherry is a decisive rejection of divisive, opportunistic politics and a thunderous endorsement of bold, result-driven leadership under Narendra Modi," she said.
Calling the mandate historic, the Deputy Chief Minister asserted that it reflected the aspirations of millions who have chosen development, stability and nationalism over "fear, appeasement and empty promises" .
She also lauded the role of grassroots workers, stating that their "relentless commitment on the ground has turned conviction into a resounding mandate" .
The celebration saw enthusiastic participation from party workers, with the venue echoing with slogans of "BJP Zindabad", "Modiji Zindabad", "Nitin Nabinji Zindabad", "Shardaji Zindabad", "Khemchandji Zindabad", and "Nemchaji Zindabad", reflecting the high morale among cadres following the party's victories.
Party leaders present at the event described the electoral success as a reaffirmation of the BJP's expanding footprint across regions and credited the leadership at both national and state levels for consolidating public trust.
The victory feast concluded with a renewed pledge by party leaders and karyakartas to strengthen the organisation at the grassroots and carry forward the momentum of the party's growing political dominance.
