Following rave review from visitors during its recent photo exhibition at the national capital the Threatened Indigenous People�s Society (Tips) organised the exhibition at Epathoukok Sanglen, Naoremthong.
The exhibition that resumed from today high- lights scenes of rights violation and human rights abuse by the security force personnel and other armed agencies.
Prior to the formal launch of the exhibition, a reception function was also organised by Epathoukok to welcome the TIPS activists and media-persons who supervised and assisted at the Delhi exhibition.
presenting a brief account of the national capital exhibition, Tips general secretary Umakanta Leitanthem conveyed on the solidarity and supported expressed by the Delhites when the exhibition was held at JN University and other locations of New Delhi.
Tracing back the establishment of the Society about two years back, Umakanta stated of TIPS having organised similar exhibitions at various parts of Manipur to remind the people of security force excesses against civilian population.
