RNCM highlights cases to Governor

Representatives of the Rongmei Naga Council, Manipur (RNCM) called on Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla at the Raj Bhavan today.
The RNCM members apprised the Governor of various issues faced by the community in Tamenglong district such as delays in public distribution services, inadequate power infrastructure, unavailability of staff in healthcare facilities, poor transportation, and gaps in other essential services.
They also highlighted the urgent need for Government intervention to improve infrastructure, ensure the delivery of basic amenities, and promote development.
The Governor gave a patient hearing and assured the RNCM members that appropriate action would be taken to address their concerns.
Representatives of the All Manipur Polo Association also called on the Governor and apprised him of various grievances related to the development of polo and other associated matters.
The Governor assured the delegation that steps would be taken up to address their concerns.
Later, representatives of the Manipur Drivers' Association called on Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla and shared their grievances related to the challenges faced while transporting essential commodities.
They highlighted issues such as poor road conditions, the need for alternative bypass routes, and other related concerns, said a press release issued by the Governor's Secretariat.
The Governor gave a patient hearing and assured the delegation that the Government would take necessary steps to address the issues they raised.
