The JAC Against the Brutal Killing of Yaiphaba Mutum today blocked Singjamei road.
Earlier, the JAC submitted a memorandum to Home Minister Gaikhangam to establish the facts and circumstances leading to the death of Yaiphaba by 1 pm today.
Just as the clock struck 1 pm, the JAC blocked one side of the road.
Soon the entire breadth of the road was blocked at Singjamei Chingamakhong and Singjamei Keithel.

Even as three persons suspected to be involved in the controversial death of Yaiphaba were pulled up by police, they were later freed from police custody at the behest of Jotin Waikhom who contested the last Assembly election in Thangmeiband AC, Johnson alleged.
JAC would carry on different modes of agitation in association with Meira Paibis and local clubs of Singjamei area.
