Kakching, July 16 2025: Horticultural inputs under Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH) and Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY) Per Drop More Crop-Micro Irrigation were distributed at the conference hall of the Chandel DC's office complex on Wednesday.

Items distributed at the programme organised by Chandel district officer (H&SC) included water pumps, water soluble fertilisers, pipes and sprayers to over 50 farmers of the district.

NPK fertilisers and plastic mulching films were distributed under MIDH while pump-set with accessories were provided under PMKSY.

The event was attended by Chandel additional deputy commissioner Md Firoj Khan as chief guest and district officer (.H&SC) Khagokpam Sundeep Singh as president, while Khengjoy SDO Md Gayasuddin Khan, Chakpikarong SDO Md Tajuddin and Chandel SDO N Pritam Singh were the guests of honour.

Addressing the event, Gayasuddin said that the equipment and accessories were distributed to aid the farmers increase their produce.
