Medical items provided to IDP patients

Thoubal, July 16 2025:
Thoubal District Hospital Patient Attendants' Welfare Association (TDH PAWA) on Wednesday distributed medical items such as IV sets, Jelco IV cannula, Medifix, etc., to emergency and internally displaced person (IDP) patients at the District Hospital.
Speaking to media persons, president Oinam Sana-macha informed that TDHP-AWA was recently formed to oversee welfare of patients with the consent of the hospital's medical superintendent Dr W Ruhinikumar.

He stated that the medical assistance has been provided mainly to IDPs and emergency patients with contribution from its members.
Mentioning that the district hospital is well-equipped and has adequate number of doctors, Sanamacha appealed to patient parties not to purchase medical items from unauthorised people to avoid recurrence of unwanted incidents.
He reason that the Association was formed to check unauthorised persons defrauding the patients.
